PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Dear Sir Wilfrid Laurier Families,

As we come to the close of another school year, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to all of our families for your support, partnership, and trust throughout the year. Thank you for allowing us the privilege of caring for, teaching, and learning alongside your children each day.

This year has been especially meaningful for me as I have had the opportunity to get to know the Sir Wilfrid Laurier community. I have been continually impressed by the kindness, resilience, and dedication of our students, staff, and families. The strong sense of connection and support that exists within our school is something truly special, and I am grateful to be a part of it.

As we celebrate the accomplishments, growth, and memories of this school year, I hope everyone takes time to reflect on all that has been achieved. Our students have worked hard, demonstrated perseverance, and contributed positively to our learning community in countless ways.

I would also like to extend special congratulations to our Grade 9 students as they prepare to begin the next chapter of their educational journey. While we will miss their presence at Sir Wilfrid Laurier, we are incredibly proud of the young people they have become. We wish them every success as they transition to high school and know they will continue to make positive contributions to their new school communities.

On behalf of our entire staff, thank you for a wonderful year. We appreciate your ongoing support and the trust you place in us each day.

I wish all of our students and families a safe, relaxing, and joyful summer filled with opportunities to rest, recharge, and create lasting memories. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the fall.

FIRST DAY OF CLASSES AND STAGGERED ENTRY INFORMATION

This year classes start on Monday, August 31, 2026 for all students. It is a half day of school for students.

Grade 6 students will arrive at 8:25 AM and leave at 12:00 PM
Grade 7 to 9 students will arrive at 12:30 PM and leave at 3:16 PM
The school office is open to parents on August 26, 2026 at 9:00 AM

UNIFORM INFORMATION

Once again this year we will be collecting clean, gently-used uniform items for the used uniform sale. If your child is leaving the TLC program or if you have items that no longer fit your child, please send them to the school.
