Support for Students at the CBE
Our students’ success is our top priority and we understand that our students live complex lives and that many factors both in school and outside of school can affect their ability to learn. The CBE offers a variety of services (such as Culture and Linguistic Support, Exceptional and Special Needs, and Psychological Services) to support students, their families and our school, so students can be successful learners.
School Learning Team
The School Learning Team provides limited assistance to students who have been identified as having special needs. This group consists of the classroom teacher(s) and administration and when placement is not appropriate, TLC specialists from student Support Services may be included.
If you have had your child privately assessed, please notify the school so that we may plan accordingly. Individual Program Plans (IPPs) will be reviewed at reporting periods with students, parents and homeroom teachers. Your input is extremely valuable.
