PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
As we move into Spring Break, I would like to take a moment to thank our families for your continued support of our school community. At the end of February, we were pleased to welcome so many parents and guardians into the school for our Parent-Teacher Conferences. These meetings provided a valuable opportunity to celebrate student learning, share progress, and talk about next steps. We truly appreciate the time families took to connect with teachers and partner with us in supporting student success.
Spring Break offers a wonderful opportunity for students and families to rest, recharge, and enjoy time together. Whether you are travelling, enjoying time outdoors, or simply taking a break from busy routines, we hope the week brings moments of relaxation and connection.
We would also like to extend warm wishes to the members of our community who are celebrating Eid al-Fitr. May this special time bring joy, reflection, and meaningful celebrations with family and friends.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday, March 30th. The final few months of the school year move quickly, and there will be many important learning opportunities and celebrations ahead. Families of students in Grades 6 and 9 can watch for upcoming information about Provincial Achievement Tests, and all families are encouraged to keep an eye on school communications for updates about year-end activities and events as we move toward the end of the school year.

HEALTHY HUNGER
This year Sir Wilfrid Laurier School will be offering families opportunities to purchase a variety of lunches through Healthy Hunger. Every purchase made helps raise money for our school. To order, you can go to https://healthyhunger.ca/ , and set up a parent account. You will need to select “Sir Wilfrid Laurier School” and then add each of your children and select their homerooms. Lunch options and dates will be available on the Healthy Hunger website. Orders must be placed at least 1 week in advance. Once you have created your account, you will be able to see and order for any of the Healthy Hunger lunches we have booked between now and the end of the school year.
