MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I hope this message finds you well! As we continue to foster a positive and healthy environment for our students, I want to take a moment to discuss the importance of sending your children to school with nutritious drinks.

Healthy beverages, such as water and milk, provide essential nutrients that support concentration, energy levels, and overall well-being. Encouraging our students to choose these options can help them stay focused and engaged throughout the school day.

I also want to remind everyone that slurpies are not permitted in the school building. While we understand that they can be a fun treat, they can create significant messes if spilled, which can be challenging for our facility staff to manage. If students are found with slurpies on school grounds, they will be disposed of immediately.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a clean and healthy school environment. Together, we can support our students in making better choices for their health.

Warm regards,
Andrea Petroni

VOLUNTEERING AT SWL

We need you!!!

At SWL there are many opportunities to volunteer!  If you would like to be a part of any of the many exciting opportunities we have at SWL, you will need to obtain a volunteer clearance.  We would like to be able to enhance your child’s learning experience by providing field trips.  We can’t do this without you!

Attached are instructions on how to get involved.  I have also attached a link to the CBE Volunteer Page with additional links to help you.

To begin the process you simply sign into your MyCBE Account (the same one you use to pay your fees, complete demographic forms, etc) and complete the Volunteer Registration Form.
