Dear Students and Families:
Welcome to our amazing school! I’m thrilled to have each and every one of you join our community. As the principal, I want to extend a warm welcome and wish you a fantastic summer.
I hope you take this time to relax, recharge, and make beautiful memories with your family and friends. Summer is a special season filled with sunshine, adventures and endless possibilities. Enjoy each and every moment.
While you’re enjoying your summer break, remember to take a moment to reflect on the exciting journey that awaits you at our school. We have an incredible team of teachers, staff and administrators ready to support your child in reaching their full potential. We’ve also created an engaging and inclusive learning environment where your child can thrive, learn and grow.
When the time comes, I can’t wait to see your smiling faces, hear your stories, and witness your enthusiasm as we start this new chapter together. Our school is a place where dreams are nurtured, friendships are formed, and lifelong memories are made.

A quick reminder that grade six students do not need to purchase any school supplies, and supply lists for a grades 7-9 have been posted on the website at: Grade 7 - 9 Supply List
FORMAL uniforms are worn every Monday and students are expected to wear formal uniform on the first day of school. If you have not ordered a uniform, please make every effort to do so to avoid product delays. The link for McCarthy’s uniforms is as follows: McCarthy Uniforms

First Day of Classes
This year classes start on Thursday, August 29 for all students. See below for start and end times for students.
Grade 6 students – 8:30 – 12:00
Grade 7-9 students 12:30 – 3:16
The school office is open to parents on August 26.
School Start and End Times
Our bell times are:
Monday to Thursday regular days – 8:25 – 3:16
Friday and early dismissal days – 8:25 – 12:11
Doors open for students at 8:15

Noon Supervision
Please make sure you pack a lunch, snack and water for your child.
Grade 6 students are not permitted to leave the school during lunch times. All grade 6 students must be registered for noon supervision. You can do this using your MyCBE/Powerschool Account. Here is the link. Student and Parent Sign In
Fees and Waivers
School fees are due beginning in September. Online fee payment is the simplest and most convenient way to pay school fees. Parents can login to MyCBE/PowerSchool to pay fees or apply for a waiver.
There are a number of different ways you are able to pay school fees. Parents can pay online using VISA, MasterCard, VISA Debit, Interac Online or set-up pre-authorized debits from your bank account using your MyCBE/PowerSchool

Forms Required
Prior to school starting, you will receive a link to MyCBE to complete the Demographic Verification Form and Annual Consent Forms.
Please refer to the Forms You Need page on the CBE website for additional forms that you may require such as the Student Health Plan Form and the Annual Authorization for Athletic Tryout.
