Dear Parents and Guardians,

I hope this message finds you well. As we strive to foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment at Sir Wilfrid Laurier School, we invite you to join our upcoming School Council Meeting on December 4^th from 6-7pm on TEAMS.  We will begin the meeting with a celebration of learning and will have students present their learning to School Council. 

Additionally, we have a thrilling opportunity for you to contribute directly - volunteer for our AGLC casino night on January 11^th and 12^th, 2024! This event serves as a vital fundraiser, enabling us to enhance educational programs, provide resources, and create memorable experiences for our students.

Why consider it?

A successful casino can generate up to $60,000 for the school.  Currently, we are at risk of losing this casino date as we do not have enough parent volunteers to work the casino, nor do we have enough elected positions on school council.  In addition to looking for parent volunteers for the casino we are also looking for a parent who would be willing to take on the position of vice-chair to support the work.
